The Global Internet Forum to Counter Terrorism (GIFCT) invites you to attend an upcoming webinar: “Conflict and Content: How Terrorists and Violent Extremists Exploit Offline Violence for Online Impact,” hosted by the Global Network on Extremism and Technology, its academic research arm.

This webinar will feature a presentation on a recent report, authored by GIFCT and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) New York Office, titled “Terrorist Exploitation of Armed Conflicts for Digital Content.” The report explores how terrorists and violent extremists are exploiting these contexts, including to generate compelling recruitment narratives, produce and disseminate propaganda, develop instructional materials, mobilize resources, and recruit supporters. Panelists will offer an overview of the report and its findings, and consider the implications for policymakers, practitioners, and industry in their efforts to prevent and counter terrorism and violent extremism online.
