We are proud to present talks from Mona Thakkar on ISKP’s use of digital propaganda and Uri Klempner on Hamas and Hezbollah. This promises to be a hugely insightful event to round off 2024 by reviewing the most significant events and emerging challenges in extremism during the past year.
Featured Panellists:
Uri Klempner holds a BA in Government with a specialization in Counterterrorism from Reichman University and an MA in Cyber Politics from Tel Aviv University. He is currently a Schwarzman Scholar at Tsinghua University and an Intern at the United Nations Executive Office of the Secretary-General. Uri has published works exploring the exploitation of emerging technologies by extremist groups.
Mona Thakkar is a Research Fellow at the International Center for the Study of Violent Extremism. Her research focuses on studying the propaganda of the Islamic State and Al-Qaeda and tracking their financial networks.
